Sean O'Brien is the Today's Sunbeam Baseball Coach of the Year

The Salem High School baseball team may have finally discovered the secrets to not having a “Salem inning.”
First, don’t have so many of the disastrous frames that you wind up naming them after your own team. And second, you don’t have many blow-up innings when you don’t worry about having a blow-up inning.
After two years of building and finding a winning formula, head coach Sean O’Brien didn’t make major changes this year but simply got his veteran squad to relax and worry less about making mistakes and just executing the way he knew they could. It led to the school’s first Tri-County Conference title in 47 years, and O’Brien has been chosen the Today’s Sunbeam Baseball Coach of the Year.
