It's been a few years since a Schalick vs. Salem High School boys soccer game was important for both sides, but after Salem's 7-0 defeat over Woodrow Wilson this week, the Rams have their sights set on the Cougars.

Schalick, a perennial powerhouse, is coming off of a 5-1 victory over GCIT in which Michael D’Orio netted a hat trick to lead the Cougars.

Monday’s win for Salem has put the spotlight on two players for the Rams, Parker Bowman and Noah Underwood, who each scored two goals in the victory. Dillan Emel assisted twice, giving the Rams what looks to be a formidable trio on offense early in the season.

Schalick will travel to Salem Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 4 p.m. For full coverage of the action, check back tomorrow at highschoolsports.nj.com.
