Best on offense: Salem's Dione Alston is a 1,000-yard rusher who scored 23 touchdowns and keyed the Rams' resurgence from an 0-10 team in 2011 to a six-win team that reached the South Jersey Grouo I semifinal.

Best on defense: Sticking with the Rams and linebacker Levi Shockley, a senior tackling machine on a defense that also boasts a strong secondary.
